BEC will hold its Annual General Meeting on Friday 25th October at the Brighthelm Centre, Brighton, at 6pm.
Later the same evening we’re also launching Brighton Energy Coop #2, an extraordinary new solar development that will grow BEC hugely and install a significant new amount of solar PV in our area.
Investors in our second project can expect to receive a 5% return on new investments, and returns on existing investments will also be raised to 5%. Our new projects will add a further 500Kw of PV, more than trebling the size of BEC.
We’re also looking for people who might be interested in becoming BEC directors. Skills that are useful might include a background in sustainable business, project management, building services, architectural technology, business modelling, communications and media. The role is unpaid, but gives you the chance to be involved in a high-profile community organisation at the cutting edge of renewable energy development in Brighton and Hove.If you’re interested let us know at info@brightonenergy.org.uk
