Having successfully raised the money for Phase 1 of our new project, last week we began installation. Click below to view our Project Update, including images and details of our exciting solar install at Shoreham Port.
While this is going on we are simultaneously raising money for the second phase of our project – Shed 3a at the Port. Investors stand to receive a projected 5% return on their investment, as well as a potential 30% tax break on their investment. You can see the Profit and Loss projections of this phase here.
Meanwhile the panels for Phase 1 will start to be installed today (Tuesday). The framing system is on, and much of the cabling is in place. The inverters are also on site. Our capable installers, Southern Solar, are working seven days a week to get the system ready for the end of December; we anticipate grid connection and switch on in early January.
Many thanks to all of you who have invested in our ongoing systems – it’s a really exhilarating to see the great progress being made at Shoreham, and – of course – to be a part of the largest community energy project in the south.
