Brighton Energy Co-op has installed another EV charge point, this time at Carden Primary School.

Any charging during daylight hours comes straight from the BEC owned solar PV on site. This helps the school ensure maximum usage of their on-site solar, generating savings on their electricity bills. In addition we share the profits from the charging with the school.

BEC has solar PV at 13 Brighton & Hove schools and use our community fund to support all Brighton & Hove City Council schools to participate in the Energy Sparks education & energy monitoring program.
