Heritage Parts Centre is a specialist VW and Porsche car parts supplier operating from their premises in Shoreham-by-Sea. They stock and supply a large range of parts and accessories for classic VW and Porsche models UK-wide and internationally.
Heritage Parts Centre have a team of over 80, who live the car enthusiast lifestyle and who bring specialist knowledge. The company has been going over 35 years and have been trading from their current location for 10 years.
They have 2 South-facing warehouse roofs with over 4,000m2 roof space which are ideal for solar panels. With the recent price hikes for electricity, solar is a promising prospect set to save a significant amount of money over its lifetime.
Heritage Parts Centre had a 173kWp solar array installed which is expected to generate over 171,000 kWh of electricity every year. This will save 40 tonnes of CO2e every year. That’s the equivalent of driving a car around the world 26 times per year.
With their operating hours mainly during the daytime, Heritage Parts Centre will make good use of the electricity generated by the solar panels.
